Conditions We Treat in Houston, TX

When choosing a health and skin care provider it is important for you to be confident in the service you receive. A Houston skin specialist should have extensive knowledge and experience in a diversity of skin issues, both cosmetic and medical. Along with common concerns like melasma, alopecia and sagging skin, at Foyé MD we also address internal health for both men and women.

Since the aging process isn’t reserved only for women, men’s skincare is of equal importance. We see it as a health and wellness concern and not just about the aesthetic. By correcting unbalanced features, tightening the jawline, smoothing sagging, wrinkled skin, and reviving tired eyes, we can improve your look and lift your spirits. That’s what you can expect when you visit our Houston office, where our specialists treat a vast variety of conditions, including:

Acne is the result of a combination of clogged hair follicles and inflammation. This can occur on the shoulders, chest, and back. The bothersome skin condition causes pimples, whiteheads, and blackheads and can lead to scars.

No matter what type of acne blemishes you suffer with, we have the advanced treatments you need to achieve the smooth, blemish-free complexion you desire. Our skilled physicians and nurse practitioners will combine a medical regimen that complements your facial treatment plan and result in a successful acne management.

Age spots are dark areas that appear on your skin. The sizes of the blotches vary and often show up on the hands, face, shoulders, and arms. These areas get the most sun exposure.

Also called liver spots, this type of skin discoloration is common in older adults. However, people under 50 are not immune, especially if they are sunbathers. At Foyé MD and Spa, we offer a range of options including non-invasive laser treatment to eradicate age spots and restore your youthful skin.

Cellulite is the stubborn dimpled, lumpy flesh that settles on hips, thighs, abs, and buttocks. Teens and adult women are most afflicted with the unsightly condition. Our Houston skin specialist uses cutting-edge laser therapy to smooth and tighten those areas.

Kybella Submental fat under the chin and on the neck is a common condition. It can result from weight gain, aging or genetics.

Kybella is a non-invasive, breakthrough treatment option that breaks down fat cells in the chin and neck area, uncovering a more sculpted jawline.

Jowls refer to the sagging skin and flesh along the bottom jaw. When the lower cheeks hang below the jawline, you may look older than your years.

There are several contouring procedures available including dermal fillers and PDO threads that can create a slimmer, more contoured facial appearance.

Many of our Houston area clients come to Foyé MD and Spa looking for a non-invasive approach to eliminate excess body fat. Fat deposits can be very stubborn, and resistant to diets and exercise. In these cases, we offer advanced body contouring with ultrasonic cavitation and SculptSure treatments.

Everyone is affected by fine lines and wrinkles eventually, but you don’t have to accept them prematurely. At our Houston, TX medical spa we offer popular injectables: Botox, Xeomin, and Dysport, and basically every anti-aging treatment available.

The vagina undergoes many changes from giving birth and aging. Vaginal rejuvenation in Houston can enhance or restore your vaginal health, sexual response and the appearance of the labia. A loss of firmness in the outer lips and a loosening vagina can lead to diminished sexual pleasure, embarrassment, and pain.

We offer the OMG Shot. The OMG Shot is a procedure that uses the body’s own growth factors to simulate tissue growth and regeneration of tissue in the vaginal, vaginal walls, labia and clitoris. The results include: increased libido, reduced stress urinary incontinence, increased ability to orgasm, and more.

Erectile dysfunction is the inability to obtain or maintain an erection suitable for satisfying sexual activity.

Penile enhancement is designed to boost blood flow by increasing the size, hardness, and girth of the penis.

We use the OMG Shot with extra potent platelet-rich fibrin to achieve optimal results.

Both men and women experience some sort of hormone imbalance at one time or another. Just the slightest hormonal shift can cause turmoil in the body. Fortunately, most non-invasive hormone replacement treatments are effective and affordable.

Symptoms of a hormone imbalance include a decrease in libido, fatigue, depression, mood swings, weight gain, headaches, infertility and more. After we discuss your symptoms, we will give you an at-home saliva kit. This is the best method of testing hormone levels. Once your lab results are received, our Houston specialists will work with you to devise a treatment plan.

Milia are small white or yellow dome-shaped bumps that form when keratin is trapped beneath the skin, The condition is usually asymptomatic and can be caused by different types of skin damage such as blisters, burns or sun damage. Sometimes milia appear for no clear reason on healthy skin.

At Foyé MD and Spa in Houston, we use several different treatment options to clear up milia acne, including Microneedling, Hydro Facial, Photofacial, VI peel, and Prescription Grade Treatments.

Hyperhidrosis is the medical term used to describe excessive sweating not caused by exertion or heat. Some patients sweat so heavily, it drips off their skin and soaks through their clothing. This abnormal sweating condition can lead to social anxiety.

Botox and Xeomin work by preventing the release of a chemical that activates underarm sweat glands. Several injections may be needed, but the results can last for close to a year.

A migraine is not an ordinary headache. The severe throbbing that usually occurs on only one side of the head, can be debilitating. A migraine attack may start with blind spots or flashes of light and often includes nausea, vomiting, and extreme sensitivity to light and sound.

We also use Botox to treat migraine, by injecting the toxin around the fibers that cause pain. The treatment enters the nerves and blocks the chemicals that cause pain transmission from the brain.

This is also known as razor bumps or barber’s itch and it is seen primarily in men with curly hair. When ingrown hairs become irritated or infected the result is unsightly bumps. For men who don’t care to let their beard grow in, we can manage the condition with prescription acne medication, peels or facials, or in some cases, laser hair removal.

Spider veins are small blood vessels that branch out in a blue, red and purple pattern. The condition most commonly appears on the face, legs, and ankles.

Stretch marks form when the skin gets overstretched faster than collagen can be produced, like during pregnancy, weight gain, or as a side effect of certain medications.

The harmful rays of the sun are responsible for accelerating the aging process, forming skin discoloration, leathery texture, fine lines, and wrinkles.

At Foyé MD and Spa all of these skin conditions can be treated with laser procedures.Spider Veins in particular may also be treated with Sclerotherapy at Foyé MD and Spa.
